Dunham Technique with Sukie Keita

After starting her performance career in NYC, dance educator and artist Susannah “Sukie” Keita danced professionally with Orts Theatre of Dance, Thom Lewis Dance, and New Articulations dance companies, and appeared in works by Ojeya Cruz Banks, Kimi Eisele, Leanne Schmidt, Suzy Guarino, and many others. Sukie became certified to teach the Katherine Dunham Technique after earning an MFA at the University Of Arizona School Of Dance, and founded the degree programs in dance and dance education at Grand Canyon University. She currently serves as Portfolio Chair with the Institute for Dunham Technique Certification and resides in Phoenix where she writes, teaches, dances, choreographs, and consults with @SukieDance.
