FACILITATOR BIOS

Jordan Daniels is a performance artist and dance educator born and raised in the Phoenix metroplex. He holds faculty positions at the Arizona School for the Arts and The School of Ballet Arizona, as well as guest teaching for Scottsdale Community College, Glendale Community College, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, and various high schools throughout the state. He recently accepted a Permanent Artist in Residence (P.A.I.R.) position at local non-profit [nueBOX] where his focus is in Technical Direction and Education, specifically high school aged learners. His passion in feedback in the artistic process has been supported by Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process, and he has facilitated several adaptations of the process in his classrooms across Arizona.

Allyson Yoder is a dance performer, choreographer, and teaching artist who has been fortunate enough to learn the Critical Response Process from its founder, Liz Lerman. Allyson deepened her understanding of CRP through the Dance Exchange Summer Institute, and has organized and participated in CRP introductory workshops and a facilitator training intensive in partnership with John Borstel, director of CRP Initiatives at Liz Lerman, LLC. Allyson's expertise in the Critical Response Process stems from years of facilitating the process for [nueBOX] artists-in-residents, facilitating audience talk-backs, and adapting CRP for use in her dance classes for both children and older adults at Phoenix Center for the Arts and Mesa Arts Center. Allyson currently serves as Director of Artist Support and Development at [nueBOX] and is a Permanent Artist In Residence (P.A.I.R.).
