A work-in-process solo work by Jenny Gerena, who was recently named “Best Dancer” by the Phoenix New-Times in the 2018 Phoenix Best Of Phoenix publication, where she was recognized for her work in the valley stating: “Gerena uses the female body to write the poetry of women's strength and solidarity through movement.”
Jenny Gerena is a Phoenix based dance artist and Faculty in Dance at Glendale CC and Scottsdale CC. She has presented her work at the Breaking Ground Dance Festival, BlakTinx Dance Festival, Dance Gallery Festival (TX & NYC), Women in Dance and Leadership Conference (PHL) and the Phoenix Art Museum.
